We manufacture oxygen plants as per the latest technology & design of the Company ING. L. & A., BOSCHI, ITALY. This technology has been proven all over the world for its working efficiency & trouble free operation.

Air separation is CRYOGENIC TYPE with low-pressure cycle of 20-40 Kg/cm2 with air separation by liquification. This cycle utilize an expansion engine to give the cold calories at (-) 80° C.

The cold box is supplied as a complete package unit with control panel and insulation.

Liquid oxygen pump is used for supply of bone-dry oxygen. Nitrogen gas waste comes out from the Top column at about 0.1Kg/cm2.

» Scope of Supply
  1. AIR COMPRESSOR
    This is 4-multistage heavy duty water cooled air compressor with fly wheel inter cooler, foundation bolts, motor pulley, motor, v belt, guard and slide rails and air filter. This is used to compress atmospheric air complete with ABB Motor and Starter.

    PROCESS
    The free saturated air is sucked from atmosphere through a highly efficient dry type suction filter into the first stage of the horizontal balanced opposed, lubricated reciprocating air compressor. Compressed air is chilled to 12 C in a chilling unit or evaporation cooler, compressed air passes through the coils of the chilling unit at a temperature of 12 C to a moisture separator, where the condensed moisture gets removed before entering into molecular sieve battery. Before sending the air to MOLECULAR SIEVE BATTERY, air is passed through an OIL ABSORBER where air becomes oil free.

  2. PROCESS SKID
    This consists of the following items for Air Separation Plant
    1. After cooler with tank
    2. Nitrogen cooler with tank
    3. Moisture separator
    4. Chilling unit with freon unit (Hitachi)
    5. Oil absorber filled with alumina
    6. Molecular sieve battery on skid (Zeochem, Switzerland)
    7. Defrost heater
    8. Gas/Air/water line as per standard layout on skid /platform prefabricated and ready for installation.
    9. Water pump.
    10. Inlet & outlet water lines
    11. Drain manifold complete with ball valves for draining moisture.

      PROCESS
      Air after Air Compressor enters the cooler and chilling unit. Chilled air passes through the molecular sieve battery consisting of twin tower packed with molecular sieves to remove moisture and carbon dioxide present in the air.

      Oil traces are removed by the OIL ADSORBER of special design High efficiency moisture separators are fitted on the Process Skid. Any dust particle gets filtered in the dust filter before air enters the air separation column

  3. EXPANSION ENGINE
    Complete with motor/starter/ starter shall be of world classSiemens /ABB/ with hydraulic valve control, bursting disc for safety, hydraulically operated high efficient engine with ball type of valves stainless steel liner vertical type of German design. Highly reliable design for continuous operation.

    PROCESS
    This Expansion Engine consists of single/twin cylinders with Teflon piston rings. The inlet and outlet valves are operated by means of a hydraulic pistol, which is actuated by a push pump.

    There is a variable CAM, which controls the timings of opening of the inlet and outlet valves.

    The valves are ball types with toughened seat to ensure proper sealing and no leakage due to continuous operation.

  4. AIR SEPARATION UNIT (Special Stainless Steel Column for high purity & Medical Oxygen)
    (Air separation column -cold box) consists of outlet steel casing, main heat exchanger, liquifier, bottom column, top column, condenser, sub cooler, liquid oxygen and nitrogen filter. Cooling pipe line, insulation material, digital electronic temperature indicator and scanner, PT 100 sensor, DP gauge manometer, Expansion valve with longstemp type with pointer And index & wheel (Stainless Steel column argon welded to meet European specifications can be supplied)

    PROCESS
    Air after Process Skid enters the Air Separation Unit. Chilled, oil free and moisture free air enters into multi pass heat exchanger no. I where it gets cooled to (-80) deg C by cold gained from outgoing waste nitrogen and oxygen.

    A part of air this enters a multi pass heat exchanger no. II or Liquefier made of special alloy tubes. This air cools to (-170) deg c before passing through an expansion valve. Due to joule thomson effect, after the expansion valve air gets further cooled down and gets liquefier before entering into bottom column.

    Rest of air at (-80) deg C from heat exchanger no. I enters into a highly efficient expansion engine, where the air further gets cooled down to (-150) deg C before entering into bottom column is known as rich liquid.

    The rich liquid in the bottom column enters into feed tray of top column. Similarly the liquid nitrogen called poor liquid enters into top column as a reflux & it takes away the latest heat of condensing oxygen and gets vaporized whereas the liquid oxygen flows down the trays of the top column into the condenser, liquid oxygen from condenser passes through a sub cooler to a liquid oxygen pump.

  5. HIGH PRESSURE FILLING MANIFOLD
    For filling high-pressure Oxygen gas to Cylinders. It consists of main High Pressure Isolation Valve and Pigtail connection with individual Valve with Pressure Gauge and Safety Relief Valve.

    PROCESS
    Oxygen pumps liquid oxygen through heat exchanger no. II and I acting as gas vaporizer where liquid oxygen gets gasified before filling in cylinders in the filling manifold.

  6. LIQUID OXYGEN PUMP
    Horizontal single acting pump with Piston, Piston Rings, Safety Devices, Non-Return Valves with Stainless Steel head for long life, Motor and Starter with Pulley, V-Belts, Belt Guard, Inter Connecting Pipes with A. S. U. Suitable for filling Oxygen. High level of safety due to oil free design.

    PROCESS
    The pure bone dry oxygen gas at ambient temperature and high pressure is filled into oxygen cylinders through manifold valves by means of the highly efficient reciprocating liquid oxygen pump.

  7. COOLING TOWER
    Induced Draft-Rotary Sprinkler type with Aluminium Casting Fan, FRP Body with suitable Electric Motor for maintaining the circulating water temperature between the Hot well and Cold well for optimum performance of the Plant. Complete in all respects.

  8. ELECTRICAL PANEL
    Electrical Panel for supply of electricity to individual motors. It has a bank of on/off switches and fuses. This enables the Operator to control all the Motors from one point.

    PROCESS
    This process is for the control of the entire electrical starters/motors.

  9. WATER SOFTENER
    Made of HDPE having single mutiport valve for different plant valve for different operations. Used to remove hardness of the water and to avoid scaling in Air Compressor Cylinder jacket and water line. Nacl/Regeneration. With min/max. working pressure in 2.0/4.0 kgs/cm2. Complete in all respect
